Conditions of Hire

CONDITIONS OF HIRE

– PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING –

COLLECTION AND DROP OFF CONDITIONS:

  • Pick up is 2pm with drop off by 11:30am 
  • Supplied with a full tank of diesel upon collection. Please return with full tank, otherwise a charge will be incurred.
  • The hirer must sign at point of collection and be the driver. If the hirer is not the driver there will be an additional charge for the additional driver.
  • Early pickups & late return may be available by prior arrangement.
  • Late returning fee after 11:30am will accrue on an hourly rate if not arranged.

Parking Your Car. You may leave your vehicle on our drive during your hire. However, we cannot be held liable for any loss or damage to your car while on our premises.

CAMPERVAN HOUSE RULES:

We want your time with JETT (the campervan) to be enjoyable whilst keeping her in great condition for future adventurers, so please read the following guidelines before your journey:

  • No Smoking.
smoking is strictly prohibited in and around the campervan.
  • Fuel. Please return with a full tank of fuel. £15 refuelling charge plus top up will be applied if not.
  • Keep JETT clean. The van must be returned clean, INSIDE & OUT. Please also remove all rubbish and empty the fridge.
Wipe down surfaces, including the sink and fridge. Wash and stow plates, cups, and pans.
If returned excessively dirty (e.g., muddy or wet interiors), a £50/hour cleaning fee will be deducted from your deposit.
  • Occupancy Limits.
The campervan accommodates up to two adults and two children. All adults must be at least 25 years old to hire.
  • Driving. Please drive only on marked, paved roads, except within campsites or designated camping areas.

  • Avoid green lanes, closed roads, off-road routes, beaches, or tidal areas.
Insurance does not cover damage in these areas, and any costs incurred will be your responsibility.
  • Drive carefully, avoiding (where possible) potholes, speed humps, and narrow lanes with restricted space. Please treat JETT as if it were your own.
  • JETT (the campervan) is fitted with a tracker.
  • Hook-Up and Campsites. Please make sure you use the electric hook up on campsites to save drain on the battery. The leisure battery will keep the fridge and lighting going for upto 48 hours.
  • Care of the Interior. Please keep the campervan’s interior in great condition by avoiding muddy boots and minimising water or dirt inside.
  • Milage. 1-7 day hire, 1000 miles | 8-14 day hire, 2250 miles | 15+ day hire, 2500 miles. Additional miles charged at 45p per mile.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS:

  • Porta toilet: £20 
  • Airport Pick up/Drop off – Liverpool or Manchester, £30 each way
